Soup
First soup of the winter season - this is made with a roasted red pepper base instead of tomato, then pureed and whole turtle beans, and diced potatoes, seasoned with onions, garlic, basil, chives, and rosemary. It was surprisingly rich and deeply flavored without tomatoes. And it reheats well the next day. It's a good soup to make in bulk quantities.
